  • Trained in Adelaide, South Australia, as a Secondary School Art teacher from 1971-73.
  • Employed as a Secondary School Art and Design teacher from 1974-97.
  • Further education at the Adelaide Central School of Art from 1994-1996, studying Life Drawing, Concept Development and Pastel drawing.
  • Moved to Maleny, Queensland, in 1998.
  • Currently in part time employment with Education Queensland in Special Education and Art Teaching at local Primary Schools.
  • Illustrated the children's book The Grandstand, with eminent Australian writer Gary Crew, as well as Educational Journals in South Australia; SALT magazine, Sunshine Coast; and produced promotional posters and art works for publication over a number of years.
  • In 2008 I organised and ran the Gifted and Talented program for Visual Arts at Maleny Primary School.
  • I have conducted adult Life Drawing, adult Beginner art classes and after hour student art classes in Maleny for a number of years, and have run Life Drawing and Beginners Pastel workshops at Hooper's Falls Art Centre, Maleny.
  • I have been an art teacher at the Woodford Folk Festival for three years.
  • I have had solo exhibitions at Maleny Artworks Gallery, the Landsborough Art Gallery and the Upfront Club in Maleny. I have been involved with group exhibitions at Tina Cooper Gallery, Eumundi and the Adelaide Central School of Art.
  • My work is in private local and international collections.
  • Selected as a finalist in the Sunshine Coast Art Prize, 2010.
